In Arizona, licensed acupuncturists are required to renew their licenses annually, with each license expiring 12 months after the date of issuance.
Renewal Process:
Acupuncture Board of Examiners
Continuing Education (CE): Practitioners must complete 15 hours of Board-approved continuing education annually. Acceptable CE includes courses approved by NCCAOM.
Required Documentation: To renew an acupuncture license, a licensee must submit:
A completed renewal application.
Affirmation of completed continuing education.
A completed Arizona Statement of Citizenship and Alien Status for State Public Benefits form.
Payment of the renewal fee.
