Total Required CAE Hours: 34 Hours Every 2 Years Core Course

Requirements: ⬜ 8 hours – General Acupuncture Therapies ⬜ 2 hours – Ethics & Safety ⬜ 6 hours – Herbology ⬜ 4 hours – Biomedicine ⬜ Human Trafficking Prevention Course

Of the 34 hours: 18 must be either Texas Medical Board Approved or Approved by another state for over 3 years.

The following 16 hours can be other NCCAOM approved providers not approved by Texas Medical Board.
