Biennially, with licenses expiring on May 31 of even-numbered years.

For Practitioners Maintaining NCCAOM Certification: No additional CE hours are mandated by the state beyond maintaining active certification with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

For Practitioners Without Current NCCAOM Certification: Completion of at least 30 hours of continuing education (CE) is required within the two-year renewal period.

Practitioners must maintain CPR Certification.
